Some people have called the 20th Century the best in human history.  Many have called it the worst.  In either case, it was a century marked by massive human movement, competing ideologies, advancements in technology that were used to achieve to both good and bad results, and a global push for awareness and achievement of fundamental human rights.  We will explore these major trends of the 20th century throughout the year.   We will also explore the effects that the changes of the 20th century have had on the 21st.
